Schtomp... And Decadence was the first album by Phased 4°F - after the release of this album, the band became a three-piece and dropped the addendum becoming, in fact PHASED. Of this line-up only Chris Sigdell remains. Michael Greilinger was in and out of PHASED several times.

The album was released on white vinyl in a ltd. edition of 200 by Petty Bourgeois Broadcasts. Some CD-R copies exist. The LP sleeve had a different cover, this is the CD-R version.
"Nachspiel..." became a standard of the PHASED live-set and therefore was re-recorded for the "A Sort Of Spasmic Phlegm..." album.
